Support for Windows Server 2019

Dears,
today I have checked version 16.0 to look for "Predefined prerequisites" or "Windows Features" related with Windows Server 2019 and it is not implemented yet. Is it planned to add this options on next version?

The installation on Windows Server 2019 is working but it is no possible to configure specific options for this platform.

Best regards,
Mario

Re: Support for Windows Server 2019

Hello Mario,

Indeed, you are right, we do not yet support Windows Server 2019 as a target OS for configuring Windows Features.

However, I have added this on our TODO list and hopefully this will be implemented in a future version of Advanced Installer.

Unfortunately, as for this moment, I can not give you any estimation on when this will be implemented, but I will update this thread as soon as it will be.

Best regards,
Catalin

Hello Mario,

The feature has been added to Advanced Installer and is currently in the testing phase.

This should be ready in one of the following two releases (AI 16.4 or 16.5).

Hello Catalin,
I downloaded version 16.4.1 and this feature seems completed. Can you confirm it?

Hello Mario,

Indeed, this improvement has been added. I can confirm that.

However, it seems that somehow we have missed to update this thread in what regards the improvement's release. Please accept my apologies for that.

Best regards,
