I wonder how long you can ignore all your potential customers in countries, that works only in local languages. I make a lot of installations but I only work in danish for danish customers.

I look forward to a version that solve this problem.

You make a very good point. We are well aware of the issue, and we would LOVE to support localized packages - with all the additional customers.

And we are working towards that goal, but it is taking a while. Please bear with us.

Can you say anything about internationalization timing? We would buy AdvancedInstaller immediately, as soon as support for German language setup wizards is provided. Is there any solution for the mean time? Maybe a way to hack the messages in the installer and replace the texts with German ones?

Sorry, I can't give an estimate.

A hack would be to edit template.msi with Orca and localize the strings. The drawback is that you can't do it for the .exe and you'll have to do it again if a new version of AI modifies template.msi again.

After a short test, i am very interested by your product.
But big problem : no support of french language !!!!

That feature is very high on our todo list. But to the non-trivial nature of the issue, I cannot give you an exact date when this will be added. My wild guesstimate is between three and nine months.

Good news: the 3.0 version was just released, fully supporting MSI packages in languages other than English. Italian is already included, the French translation is under works and will be ready for the next release (3.1).

Nice work, but can't you make that you can choose a language for the simple installation? Because I want to make a simple one in german, but there is only english

Creating localized packages is a feature that is present only in Professional and Java types of projects.
