Hello Andy and welcome to our forums,
Normally, from the UI, you can pin a folder to
"Quick Access" by simply right clicking on it.
After further investigations, I stumbled upon this StackOverflow thread:
Is it possible programmatically add folders to the Windows 10 Quick Access panel in the explorer window?
which explains how to do that in PowerShell.
In Advanced installer, you can add a
PowerShell custom action after the
"Add resources" action group (in the
"Custom Actions" page), with its
"Execution Time" set to
"When the system is being modified (deferred)" and with the
"Run under the LocalSystem account with full privileges (no impersonation)" option enabled and that should do it.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Catalin
