Yeah, this is minor, but irritating. The last few versions have had this bug.

When you are in the program one should be able to Press Alt-F then x to exit the program. But pressing Alt-F does not bring up the drop down.

This behavior is caused by a bug in Advanced Installer. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. A bugfix will be included in a future version (the next version will be released soon, so most likely the version after it). Until then the workaround is to press Alt+F twice.

Which version of Advanced Installer are you using?

I have tested this now with the latest version of Advanced Installer (16.2) and by pressing the ALT+F buttons combination, the drop-down menu is spawned.

Indeed Alt-F works, but one used to be able to then type the letter "X" to exit, or "S" to save, etc.

I see.

I have tested this and indeed, as far as I can see, that is not available, or at least not anymore.

However, there are some other shortcuts that can be used for your uses:

- for saving --> CTRL + S

- for exiting --> ALT + F4 (as in any other application)

- for new project --> CTRL + N
