/DeleteUpdate -all fails to work

Ran the command /DeleteUpdate -all per the documentation here at https://www.advancedinstaller.com/user- ... pdate.html and it does not clear all the updates in the file.
There was mention in 19.3 that this feature was added, however it is not working.

Re: /DeleteUpdate -all fails to work

Hello,

I've tested this and everything is working as expected.

Can you please make sure that you run the AdvancedInstaller.com from the folder of version 19.3?

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files (x86)\Caphyon\Advanced Installer 19.3\bin\x86
You can open the command line in that path or you can use a command like this:

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Caphyon\Advanced Installer 19.3\bin\x86\AdvancedInstaller.com" /edit "C:\Users\Liviu\Desktop\updates cmd\test.aip" /DeleteUpdate -all

Please let me know if is working for you now, otherwise please give us more details about how you reproduced this.

Best regards,
Liviu

Re: /DeleteUpdate -all fails to work

Apologies. I moved my projects to another machine and when I was opening the project, I was looking at the old location, not new.

It is working correctly.

Next, would be awesome for the next update to allow command line updating/enabling of the notifications section of the updates.

Re: /DeleteUpdate -all fails to work

Hello,

As I can see, that improvement (command line support to change Updater notification) is already work in progress and it may be included in our next major release.

As soon as this improvement will be available we will notify you on the forum thread where you requested it.

Best regards,
Liviu
