Deferred CA not firing

HI,
I have a deferred CA in sequence which does not seem to be executing.
The project starts a service but AI does not seem to be executing the CA.
The project was created in version 16.8 of AI.
I have also just tried a 32 bit version built using 15.5.1 and this does not work either i.e. it is not running the deferred script.
I can only assume it is something to do with starting the service as other projects, which use stand-alone applications are executing the same script ok.
The script is .vbs and should be executed in sequence between Add Resources and Finish Execution.
I am using the action data field to pass details to this script.

Any idea what this could be?

Hi,

I discovered that it was in fact entering the deferred CA but is somehow not running the command therein.
Nothing to do with AI methinks.
