creating msi package using advanced installer

I am new to advanceinstaller. currently I have couple of exe's and dll's to create msi package. can you help how can I achieve creating a msi package for the same.

Can I register a dll or exe with the free version of Advanced Installer? Because when I set the properties to register for a dll and tried executing the msi it says couldn't register the dll with a errror message. i.e HRESULT some number

could u help in this
