Hi,
I am experiencing the exact same issue of similar upgrade codes for two separate installations that create separate entries under "Apps and Features" in Windows 10. I do not have the "Qverride Windows Installer programs list entry enabled".
I'm using AI16.7 and the Product key is changed each time a release is triggered from our DEVOPS CD release step.
We only seem to be experiencing this issue when the release is done using a build on a non production branch and installing that on along side the already installed production version.
I couldn't find any corrupt registry values for our product as hinted in the previous reply. Please help.

Hello George and welcome to our forums,
Could you please make sure that the "Product Code" is different between your projects?
To do so, please open your projects --> "Product Details" page --> "Product IDs" tab.
