MSI repair running on files with association

We have defined in our msi install an association with .mpp file. We are running into an issue where a customer is installing our product as administrator into a citrix terminal server environment. After the install if a user double clicks on a .mpp file it starts a repair from the msi installer.

I have disabled advertising in the installer but this did not help.

Hi,

This happens because your per-machine installer is using per-user locations (user profile folders or HKEY_CURRENT_USER). A per-machine installer should use only per-machine locations.
