No shortscuts anywhere

I've tried using the context menu as well as the toolbar icon to place a shortcut on desktop, startmenu, shortcut dir .... etc. However, no icon gets created when the msi is installed. Please advise.

Please explain this a bit more clearly. Did you create file shortcuts or command shortcuts? To create a file shortcut right click on a file and select New File Shortcut and in the New File Shortcut dialog set the Directory filed to the folder you want the shortcut to be placed.

I created command shortcuts. I have sent the aip file to 'support at advancedinstaller dot com'

The "command shortcuts" are shortcuts to files that are not part of your project, but rather of the target computer. The files that the command shortcuts point to, must already exist on the target computer.

If you want to create shortcuts to files from your project you must create file shortcuts.

Anyway, please delete all the command shortcuts you created and create "file shortcuts" instead.
