Installation UI: Setup.exe doesn't start after reopening aip

Hi,

Using
- AI 11.0
- Windows 7 SP 1 German.
- Translations: German only

When I use "Installation UI" or "Maintenance UI" for the first time, the package rebuilds and the setup starts so the dialogs can be tested.

When I run it again, the message says the "All Builds are up to date" and the package rebuilds and the setup starts so the dialogs can be tested.

When I close the project and open it again, and run "Installation UI" the message says the "All Builds are up to date", but the setup doesn''t start.

I need to first go to the \Appdata\Local\Temp folder and manually delete the Setup.exe (Attribute= Not protected and not hidden) and then when I click "Installation UI", the setup is rebuilt and the setup starts.

I need to do this each time a re-open the project and as long as long as the project remains opened, it works.

What I also noticed, is if I change a dialog, the setup.exe doesn't rebuild when I use "Installation UI", until I also first delect the Setup.exe.



The Security settings on the temp folder are full priviledges for "SYSTEM", "Administrators" and %User% (my user account).

Would you please test this to see if it is an AI bug?

Indeed, this is an Advanced Installer issue which we are aware of. The fix was already included in the next version of Advanced Installer. We will let you know when the fixed version will be released. Thank you for feedback.
