Hi,
I have to install plugins for an exsting application into a specific
folder of the applications install directory. Therefor I would like to
add a custom action to the InstallUISequence, which determines the
applications install directory and sets the TARGETDIR property accordingly.
This is then displayed in the "Select Install Directory" dialog
to be modified by the user (if multiple releases of the application are
installed)
The custom action shoud run in immediate mode, currently all custom action seem
to be created in deferred mode by Advanced Installer.
Does anybody have an idea how to accomplish this ?
Other than that I am very pleased with the product, its easy to use and
the cost performance ratio is excellent.
