Prblem with new insatnce

HI

I am using Multiple Instance with property "Generate instance at installation time"

My setup is creating following
1. Windows Service
2. IIS Web site

What i need is to configurate diffrent names for each instance. I need to get the current instance namn to be able to configure Windows service "Display name, Service name" and allso add current instance name for IIS web site.

Is there a property to get the current instance Name?

Hello,

I would recommend using ProductName property in your service name. On multiple instances the ProductName will include the instance name.

Also please take a look on a limitation that is encountered when uninstalling the services and on my proposed workaround :

The thing i that i have tryed to use productname.
The problem is that it is the same for all instance.
In my case QPick for first instance thats is ok.
For the next instance it will be QPick as well even if the instance name is diffrent.
