Floating license server priority

Hi Everyone,

My company uses a floating license of Advanced Installer so that our build machine can run nightly builds, but a developer can work on developing the installer during the day. I was wondering if there is a way to establish a "priority" list of machines connecting to the build server, such that I can specify that if the official build machine requests the license, it should always be able to acquire the license, potentially kicking the developer running another instance of Advanced Installer off. This would be important if, for example, the developer accidentally left their instance of Advanced Installer running on their machine over night after heading home, or if someone else in the company triggers a build that is needed quickly, but can't track down where the developer running AI is running from.

Does the license server offer any kind of functionality like this?

Hello Nick and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

As of yet we do not have a floating license server priority functionality in place . But please note that it is added on our TODO list and I have increased the priority of this issue.
We will provide you with an update on this thread once it is released.
