How do I Remove or Delete a File that wasn't installed by AI

Hello, AI Support team,
I have a problem and I hope you help me to solve it?
I need to remove a file when uninstalling the application software. actually this file (ex:licact.dll) is created by my application as a hidden system file and stored it in the [system] folder.

How do I remove or delete it when I Uninstall the software?

I think its not a hard option to setup with AI (Advanced Installer), I want to give the path and delete it? I didn't see any of such features found in AI.
pls let me know how do I do this...

I am awaiting your favorable reply...

Thank you

Hello,

In order to remove this file you could create a new "File removal" operation. Just go to "Files and folders" page, select the folder where the file is located(for example "Windows Volume\Windows\System") and click "New File Operation" - "File Removal" toolbar button. Configure this file removal operation in the following way:
- "Name:" "licact.dll"
- in the component field you could leave the default component - "ProductInformation"
- "Remove on:" : "Component uninstall"

In this way "licact.dll" will be removed when "ProductInformation" component will be uninstalled.
