Desital Sign failed

Hello,

I use Advanced installer Ver14.5.2 build 83143 with Windows10.
This is not an issue in other PC (Windows7).
Is installed WindowsSDK wrong?

When AdvancedInstaller runs I get this:
-------------------------------------------------
Checking builds status
Build required.

[ DefaultBuild ]
Building package: D:\UC-1\TOPS\Install\TOPS\setup.exe
Prepare build

Re: Desital Sign failed

Hello and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

I'm not sure why you encountered the related behavior. In order to further investigate this, can you please send us the .AIP (project file) to support at advancedinstaller dot com? If it contains confidential information you can send us a small test project which reproduce this behavior.

Best regards,
Dan

Re: Desital Sign failed

Hello Marie,

This is still under investigation.

We apologize for the delayed reply, but we didn't find anything useful by now. Please give us a bit more time to further troubleshoot this and we'll get back to you as soon as we have more details.

In the meantime could you try to manually sign the setup package using SignTool.exe and see if the signing operation succeeds? Just disable the signing option from "Digital Signature" page, build the setup project and then try to manually sign it using SignTool.exe.

All the best,
Daniel

Re: Desital Sign failed

Hello Marie,

We ran lots of test with your setup project settings, but weren't able to replicate the build signing error. Also, looking over your attached setup project we didn't notice any "BuildPileAK.exe" file added in "Files and Folders" page.

Could you please try to manually sign using SignTool the above "BuildPileAK.exe" file and make sure the signing operation succeeds?

All the best,
Daniel
