I have a search that looks for a file in [SETUPEXEDIR] which was working in the same .AIP file in 13.1. When I converted it to 14.8, it doesn't appear that this search is running at all. We are using this search to populate a property and using it in Launch Conditions if it does/doesn't exist. Is there a different approach to search for a file that is next to the setup.exe?
Please help as this is very time sensitive!

I've tested your scenario and everything is working as expected.
In order to have a better view about this, can you please send us the .AIP (project file) and a verbose log of the installation process to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can investigate it? If it contains confidential information you can send us a small test project which reproduce this behavior.
