Need Custom Action to lookup registry entry

I need to have a custom action lookup a registry entry AFTER the prerequisites are run.

Is there a way to use the registry lookup utility midway through the install to store a registry value in an Adavanced Installer property?

Hi and welcome to our forums.

I'm afraid that the searches cannot be scheduled to a later time. So, in order to get a registry value that was written by a prerequisite you can either install that prerequisite as "pre-install" or create your own custom action that searches for the registry entry.
