Change language name

Hello,

i have a question regarding language display names in the language selection dialog.

in the English language we have American English and British English is it possible to change one of them to say only English?

how can i change these names because i want only English to be shown in the language dialog not "English (United States)".

Hello Diego,

I am afraid this is not possible. Even if you will try to import a dictionary into Advanced Installer by using an already known language ID, you will be prompted with a message like this: "Do you want to add "Language" to your project ?". For example, if you add a new language having the "en_GB" ID, you will be prompted with the following message: "Do you want to add "English (United Kingdom)" to your project ?".
