Missing Shortcuts in MSIX

All shortcuts created with my MSI installers are created and placed as they should be, however since trialing MSIX packaging I have no shortcuts being created at all. Is there something I don't know? (running pro version in trial mode)

Hello and welcome to our forums,

Please note that an appx package does not create a desktop shortcut, it just create a StartMenu entry for the installed application.

So, the encountered behavior is correct.
