Set project root path from command line

Our build machine has installer inputs in a different folder structure than our development machines. We are using AI command line to do the builds.

Is there a way on the AI command line to set the project root path?

I tried using path variables, but since there are a number of folders, it get complicated quickly.

Re: Set project root path from command line

Hello,

Unfortunately we don't support for changing the project root path through command line. I have added this improvement on our TODO list and it will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer. Thank you for your understanding.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions.

Best regards,

Re: Set project root path from command line

Hello Shlomi,

Unfortunately, this improvement was still not added, due to the fact that it had a low priority in our improvements management system.

However, I have now increased its priority and hopefully it will be added in a future version of Advanced Installer.

Kind regards,
Catalin
