Updater Enterprise Enviroment -- Search for Update Failure

Dear Community,

I've got a Problem with the automativ Updater in a Enterprise enviroment.
Even if i click on the Updater the PopUp appears with the current GPO Blocks the Search for Update.
Even if i try it with a local Admin, the same error Message aperas.

All Files are Local not on a share not on a Webserver
the update are copied correctly.

if i install the Update directly with the MSI everything works fine.

Thanks for Help

Re: Updater Enterprise Enviroment -- Search for Update Failure

Hello and welcome to our forums,

Could you please open your setup project (the one which installed the Updater being launched), go to "Updater" page and check if it has the "Install support service" option enabled? When this option is enabled the Updater is launched under System account. Maybe there is a domain policy preventing the System account to access/launch the updates files.

If this is still of no help, please send us by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com the AIPs (project files) of your old setup version, of the new setup version and of the updates configuration project so we can test and investigate them.

All the best,
Daniel

Thanks Daniel for the Answer.
Yes it was the Local GPO. I now use it as an Local Service Account with Full UA and not it works.

Thanks
