Custom action not showing in Argument

I added a MessageBox custom action, which shows in the Existing Custom Action List.

I opened my dialog and selected the Next button and clicked New in Published Events. I choose Execute custom action.

In the Argument dropdown, Messagebox is not showing but my other two custom actions are.

I'm using AI 15.8

I determined what I was doing wrong. When I added the custom action, I did not select "Add custom action without sequence".

Now it appears in the drop-down.
