Can't open a file using repackaged software

Hi,
I'm new here, I have used AI in some project earlier and it worked well. This time I wanted to repackage a publishing software which I haven't done before , everything went well from setting up hyper environment to generating exe. But after installing the generated executable I noticed that I can't open the program file by double clicking the file. When I double click the program starts to run as if is installing the program again and then open it. Wat may be the problem?

This may happen if there were included "Advertised shortcuts" into your setup project. Could you check the "Advertised shortcut" flag for all shortcuts within "Files and Folders" page of your setup project and uncheck it?

Thanks for your response, I have done as required but now I'm curious to know how I can add my program to allow users to "open with..." in windows machine
