Licensing tral expired

Thu Jul 04, 2019 9:31 pm

I cannot get my test app to get back to trial period.
In AI the trial period is set for 15 days.

1) I uninstalled the app
2) In AI Licensing page I have right clicked on Trial and then Testing and then selected to Remove Trial Info
3) To be sure I also Generated a new Library Key
4) I entered that Library Key into my app and compiled Release Version
5) back in AI I then compiled that AI project
6) I ran the installer ext produced to install the app.

When the app starts the Licensing Dialog says that my 135 days trial has expired.
Where the 135 days comes from I have no idea.
What else do I have to do to get this back on trial so that I can continuing testing?

I finally solved this issue by
1) uninstalling the app
2) in AI I deleted the Licensing -> Trial & Registration -> Trial
3) Adding a new Licensing -> Trial & Registration -> Trial
4) Compiling the AI project
5) running the installer.exe that was created to install the app
6) running the app shows that I have 15 days left on the trial.

OK..I of several Licensing problems solved.

Thank you for your follow up on this.

I am not so sure how did you end up previously with the related big amount of trial days, but for testing purposes I recommend you trying to use VM environments so that when something went wrong you can easily revert to the last working snapshot.

All the best,
