Registry keys in Advanced Installer is not the same as windows registry key

Hi,

I want to add one Install condition, in windows register key I have the key but Advanced Installer "Choose Registry Key" form doesn't have it.

Registry key that I'm looking for it in Advanced Installer is :
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{A05CF723-DDED-44D4-B265-DDBECA1291D1}

thank you,

Re: Registry keys in Advanced Installer is not the same as windows registry key

Hi and welcome to our forums.

On a 64-bit machine, the registry entries under "HKLM\Software" are divided in two sections: the 32-bit section (under "Wow6432Node" key) and the 64-bit section (all the others).

In order to see the registry entries from the appropriate section when you create a search in Advanced Installer, you need to check/uncheck the "Search the 64-bit portion of the registry" option accordingly.

Best regards,
