Im trying to stop a service that is ran through another service handler.(The one that comes with AI doesnt play nice with it)
However, it needs to be run with full privileges since running as admin creates an additional prompt for admin rights. Which isnt wanted. So I have a custom action to handle stopping the service. The issue is I can stop or remove the service until after that prompt happens. Is there a way to stop and remove the service during uninstall so that I prevent the reboot message that appears from ever popping up?
