Uninstall-Probs when changing Installation type to Per-user only

Hello,

our Installer in the past have all an "Per-machine only (fails if user is not admin)"-Installation-Type.
Now I changed to an "Per-user only"-Installation-Type - which i did successfully.....but...

How can I uninstall the old C:...\programms... Program-Folder, eg the previous Installation?

my Solution is a Custom Action - "UninstallPrevoiusVersion" with the UpgradeCode from the former Installer.
Works like a charm

Thanx a lot...

nearly solved - only thing that bothers is that the "old"-, eg. previous-Version-Shortcuts are still there and weren´t uninstalled.

So what can i do to remove or overwrite them?

Hi Haudi,

To do so you can try to use a File Removal Operation configured to remove your old .lnk (shortcut) files.
