Auto restart error - non Admin user

I am calling the updater from within a VB6 application to check for and install new versions of the application. The installation works fine until I add the Auto Close and Restart Always options for the application on the 'Auto Close Applications' tab in the Updates Configuration file project.

When the application and updater is run by a non-admin user, the update works fine (I am using the Install Update without elevation) The error given is

Resource with identifier 'VERSION' not found.

Searching for this error suggests that it is something to do with permissions.

Please has anybody seen this error before or are there any issues or things that must be done when using the Auto Close and Restart options.

I am not sure what exactly could cause the related error.

Could you please tell us what is throwing the related error, is it thrown by our Updater tool or by your application?

Also, could you please send us by email at support at advancedinstaller dot com the AIPs (setup project files) of your setup package and of your updates configuration project, so we can investigate their settings?
