Folder permissions not set

Hello,

I am having trouble trying to set custom permissions for my folder that setup creates in ProgramData. Using Advanced installer 16.2.

My goal was to set custom permissions to folder named "AppFolder" and all its child folders. I right clicked on "AppFolder", added permissions and selected "Apply to all subfolders" as in image.

The problem is when I install my app all CHILD folders have permissions set correctly, but PARENT folder named "AppFolder" has old permissions. It seemes that those permissions are inherited from ProgramData and advanced installer cannot overwrite them. Can I solve this ?

Hi,

I am not sure why this happens.

Can you please send us the .aip (project file) to support at advancedinstaller dot com so we can fully investigate its settings?

If you cannot share with us your project file, then you can try to isolate the behavior in a buildable sample (.aip + its referenced files) which we can build and test on our side.
