Execution fails

Hi,
The most graceful feature of AI is the ability to create db from installation, and the task to configure this is easy, in fact intuitive, however there must be something one misses when handling sql server 2008 statements, the odbc driver seems to unrecognize statements such SET, IF, SELECT , throwing errors like "[SQLExecDirect]{SQL_ERROR}:{SQL_SATATE:42000}[Microsoft][Sql Server Native Client 10.0][SQL server] Incorrect sintax near S".
thats when trying to execute a SET statement that otherwise in a microsoft qeury edit tool works well.
what am I missing??
Thanks for help.

Re: Execution fails

Hello and welcome to Advanced Installer forums,

I have tested this scenario and everything worked as expected for me (the SELECT statement worked as expected).

In order for me to further investigate this, could you please forward me a copy of your .AIP file by e-mail at support at advancedinstaller dot com?

In addition to that, if your scripts aren't added as inline scripts, please also send me the script files.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Catalin
