Advanced Installer 16.7 multiple virus/trojan detections

Hi,

please sort this out quickly...

Advanced Installer 16.7 installer has multiple virus/trojan detections.
  • Trojan.GenericKD.42251794

Are those false positives?

Currently, I am not able to install it, because 1) our proxy is blocking it, and 2) our endpoint protection is blocking it. Both cannot be turned off or whitelisted.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We have submitted our setup package for whitelisting and hopefully the related false positive detections will be removed soon.

I will update this thread as soon as the false positives are fixed.

The whitelisting action turned out in more A/V engines are detecting viruses... It was 4, now it is 6.

We manage to get some of those detection whitelisted already and we hope that soon all the detections will be cleared by the related AV vendors.

Same thing here with the 16.8 version.
I'm unable to update to that version.

Could you please try updating once more? We have just whitelisted several false positives.

If you still get a detection, could you please share more details with me (AV software name, a screenshot, etc)?
