Issue with pre-requisites

I am having the following issue.
Click update, AI downloads and runs the installer.
Installer identifies that the updated version of Crystal Reports is needed.
Crystal Reports installer takes over, identifies old version is present, removes it and installs new version and finishes fine.
App installer now takes over and installs everything.
I run the app and it fails to "use" Crystal reports.
I click the downloaded exec and it prompts to install Crystal reports.
Crystal reports installer comes up with a Remove or Reinstall. I click Reinstall
Crystal reports is reinstalled.
The the app installer comes up. I click repair.
Now everything is fine.
Second issue
Most customers have our app but the URL points to an invalid site (for the updates.txt file)
My thought was just to have the customer (6,000+) update the configuration file with the new url, however this still seems like an inconvenience. Is there a better way?

I am still having issues.
If I take a blank machine and install the app, it installs. But, when I launch the app again and click check for updates (I added to app) it downloads the updates again , thinks that Crystal Reports is not installed, and then finishes with a repair on the main app.

I have built the app with the new files and requirements, upload the exe, then I build the updates and upload the updates.txt.

The issue is, our installed base has the URL pointed to a invalid url so I need to figure out how to solve that issue, currently I just paste the correct line into the updater.ini file

Is it possible to have a Webex, Zoom or whatever to go over this?
