Unable to set Install Parameter values from listboxes.

I have two custom dialogs, open to select the SQL Server, the second to select the database. The dialogs are correctly filled using the Custom Actions.

I defined the list boxes in install parameters so it would persist the values.

Then in the services page, I am using the install parameters in the service parameters field.

But when the service installs, it still contains the default values for the install parameters.

I get the feeling I am missing a step, but cannot see where. Do I need to use some other custom actions? If so, which ones and how?

I can not really say why this happens.

In order for me to further investigate this, could you please create a sample project that reproduces the issue and forward it to me (either here or by e-mail at support at advancedinstaller dot com)?

Additionally, it is not quite clear to me what you mean by this:

Does this happen during an upgrade scenario or during a first-time install scenario?
