Crash when setting folder to always overwrite

When I right click the root application folder in the "File and Folders" screen, change the "Ovewrite Behavior" on the "Operations" tab to "Always Overwrite existing files", and then save the project, Advanced Installer crashes.

The error dialog offers an option to send an error report, but when clicking it I just get another error stating that I do not have an e-mail program installed.

The stack trace displayed is:

Code: Select all

Re: Crash when setting folder to always overwrite

Hello,

By the "root folder", do you mean the "Application Folder" in the "Files and Folders" page?

If so, I have tested this just now and everything worked as expected on my end - no error was thrown.

Are you able to constantly replicate this on multiple machines or is it specific to one machine only?

Best regards,
Catalin
