AI18: registerfloating not working and returns nothing

Hello,

I want to check on my build server if a floating license for the following build can be acquired. I found this command:
AdvancedInstaller.com /registerfloating <host>:<port>
If I do this on my machine where I can get a floating license (using the same server and port), this command will return nothing an I get a Toast error message "Unable to connect to the license server". I am using Advanced Installer 18.
How can I get a return code and how am I able to get a valid connection?
