How to remove a file from powershell script

Tue May 11, 2021 6:07 pm

I want to remove a file when install package.
This is done from the following GUI like attached the attached image.
However I need powershell script because I make package from Bamboo.
Can anybody let me know how to do this?

Hello Don and welcome to our forums,

It looks like the screenshot you wanted to attach is not correctly attached.

Please note that in order to add a file (e.g. a .TXT file, a screenshot, etc.), you will need to use the "Attachments" feature and then place the attached file in line, i.e.:

Given your requriement, most likely you are refering to our "File removal" support.

As for this moment, I'm afraid we do not support this in our PowerShell Automation feature.

I have, however, added this on our TODO list of improvements and it will be added in a future version of Advanced Installer.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

Best regards,

You are always welcome!

As I expected, you were indeed talkinga bout a "File removal" operation.

As I have mentioned in my previous thread, unfortunately, we do not have support for that in our "PowerShell Automation" feature.

I have added it on our TODO list of improvements and hopefully it will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer.

Best regards,
