Unistall clean up not working on "current user registry"

Mon Apr 11, 2022 7:25 am

I'm new here. I want to remove a current user registry key created by my installer or application and also edit the value of registry sword from 1 to 0 when my application is uninstalled. I tried doing it in my application but windows service can't execute such task. I have used "uninstall clean up and the key was marked cross sign showing is good to go. But when I install the app and uninstall, nothing is deleted. Please i need urgent help, my clients are waiting for the app to be publish. Thanks

Hello and welcome to our forums,

I'm not quite sure why that happens.

In order for us to further investigate this, can you please send us the .AIP (project file) by email to support at advancedinstaller dot com?

Also, can you tell me which registry key value are you trying to edit from 1 to 0 on uninstall from your project?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Liviu
