How to select a control in the dialog editor

Wed Aug 24, 2022 11:23 am

Hi,

I am creating a custom dialog which has two controls in the same position and with the same size. At most one of them is displayed at any time.
Now while designing this dialog, how do I select these two controls? A mouse click always selects the one on top, and I cannot find a way to select the "lower" control, other than moving the "top" control to a different position. Both Tab and Ctrl+Tab move the focus to someplace outside the editor. I also tried Shift+Click, Alt+Click and Ctrl+Click, with no luck.

Thanks
Hans

Hello Hans,

You can select the desired control from the Properties menu (right panel) --> dropdown button:

Hope this helps!
