MSI uninstalls from Command Line but not control panel

So, recently we noticed that the installer doesn't uninstall from the Control Panel by using 'Uninstall/Change' option.

It works fine by right-clicking on the .msi and selecting 'Uninstall' and also by running it from the command-line. When looking at the log, it says it was 'reconfigured' rather than uninstalled.

I will send the verbose log and the .aip to the support email.

This is quite strange, indeed, mostly because when you uninstall from the command line, it's basically the same as uninstalling from the Control Panel.

I have had a look over your project and everything seems to be configured just fine.

If possible, could you please try to create a sample project that reproduces this and perhaps forward that to me so I can build and test it on our end?

Additionally, are you able to constantly reproduce this or is it just on a specific machine that you are able to?

I wasn't able to create a project to recreate this behavior. I tried, but wasn't able to replicate it.

The answer to the second question is that it is easy to reproduce on every machine we install it on.

If you can not reproduce it in a sample project, that's fine.

Is there a way you could provide me the following resources:

- a copy of the .AIP file

- a download link for your setup (MSI/EXE)
