can't create shortcut in version 1.0

i downloaded the new version 1.0. i uninstalled the previous version as instructed. however, i cannot create a shortcut at Files and Folders Page. The new shortcut toolbar is disabled.

You need to first select the file you want to create a shortcut to by simply clicking on it. Then create a new shorcut using the toolbar button or the context menu item.
