Hi I am new to all this and don't know what's what, I am thinking of going with globalsign as it seems more Australian friendly as I live in Australia, is it much different then Verisign? Is it just as trusted? I seem to be able to navigate globalsign website better and they have an Australian number to call if I need support also am I better getting EV code signing? I feel I will get the EV but just want some opinions before jumping the gun, I have made an installer with wix but found out I need msix so I'm here looking at advance installer and feel this is the way I need to go to future proff any other apps I decided to build in the future any advice would be appreciated,

Please note that an EV certificate (Extended Validation) provides instant reputation with Microsoft's SmartScreen.

With that being said, I do not think it matters what vendor you are choosing.
