how can i delete the "MainFeature? which is preloaded when i make my own feature. is there anyway to delete it and how ?

I'm not 100% shure, but I think you need to delete everything in the feature and then you can delete it.

This is partially correct as you cannot directly delete a component. A component is removed from the project when its attached resource (file/registry) is deleted.

The solution is to move the components from the feature, once its empty you can delete it.

yes you are right . it dont have any components attached inside the "MainFeature" because that it is preloaded . but my only problem is i cant make it be removed . in someway how can i delete or remove this "MainFeature" ? .

If the feature is empty use the Del key or choose Delete from its context menu.

,tnx sir for ur reply but how exactly can i go to the context you are saying ? . i seem to not understand the correct steps in deleting a unnecessary Feature.

Just right-click on the feature and the context menu will be shown.
