Disable/Edit custom build event using the CLI

Hi,

is it possible to disable/edit a custom build event from the CLI?

We're using a pre-build event to modify some files, depending whether it's an unstable or stable build. What I'd like is to set this condition in our CI tool, and have that call advancedinstaller.com with the appropriate commands to disable/change the options of the pre-build step.

Or maybe there's another way to run/not run particular build steps based on an external condition?

Hi,

I'm afraid that we do not have command line support for editing the build events. I added this improvement on our TODO list and it will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer.

Meanwhile, the only workaround is to perform those actions (modify files, etc.) from your command line tool, outside Advanced Installer before building your project.
