FullTrust required but not allowed

Wed Oct 10, 2018 10:35 am

I'm using Advanced installer 15.3 Express Edition to build an appx installer for the store. This application only needs access to his own files and pictures.

By enabling Full Trust the appx works fine and no issues at first checks after uploading but it is rejected at certification process because Full Trust is not allowed.

Enabling any other capability or none build an appx that can't be opened (Error Analysing packet / Can't be opened) and also fails at first checks after uploading.

Please kindly let me know which capability I should enable to get a working appx and not be rejected.

Thanks.

Hello and welcome to our forums,

We apologize for the delayed reply.

From our experience this could happen if you converted a Win32 app into an MSIX/APPX package and now you are trying to upload it as native UWP app into the Microsoft Store. If your built APPX is embedding a Win32 app then please try to submit it through "Desktop Bridge sign-up form for Windows Store".

Hope this helps.

All the best,
Daniel
