if i want to make an EXE just to copy the files from the CD/DVD to a specific location can i do that ?
i dont want it to install or write to registry or anything else
An autorun + copying files
is that possible

Hello and welcome to our forums,
In order to achieve what you want, you can create a new project, add your files in the "Files and Folders" page --> under "Application Folder" and then follow this tutorial which will get you started with the "CD/DVD Autorun":

If you want your setup to not be registered with Windows Installer (to appear in the Control Panel), all you have to do is to uncheck the "Register product with WIndows Installer" option from under the "Add or Remove Programs (Control Panel)" --> "Product Details" page.
Also, please keep in mind that the "CD/DVD Autorun" feature is available starting with an Enterprise license type or above, so please make sure that you are creating an "Enterprise" project from the "Start Page"
