Set permissions files/folders in command line

Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:55 am

Hi,

My need is to use AI in full command line (for automation purpose).

I have already found how to create, add files, add folders, rebuild, set version in command line. But I would like to know if it possible to manage permission in command line ? I know this can done in Permission Tab but I must not use any UI.

I did not find any information about that in the online User Guide, not the forum. Is that possible ? Thanks.

Ben

Hello Ben and welcome to our forums,

Unfortunately, this is not possible as for this moment. I have added this on our TODO list of improvements and hopefully it will be available in a future version of Advanced Installer.

However, I can not give you any estimation on when this will be added.

I will update this thread as soon as we will add this improvement in Advanced Installer.

Kind regards,
Catalin
