Advanced installer 'master install' ( Suite Installer )

Mon Jun 10, 2019 8:19 pm

Hi,

I have three separate installers now... and I would like to create a 'master install' that builds and then installs all three.
( Similar to visual studio's ability to create a blank solution then add projects to that solution )

Is that possible?
If not, what is the best practice to create an empty 'master install' that will be the container, so I can add and run three separate installers? (.AIP files ??? )

What type of directory structure is required?
What other information will be relevant to creating this 'master' installer?

Hello Mike,
Is that possible?
I am afraid that is not possible.

However, it is possible to build all of them separately and then create a suite installation for the setups.

In order to achieve that, please have a look on our "Creating Suite Installations" article which I think you may find useful.

Hope this helps.

Best regards,

Catalin,

Thanks for the pointer to the Suite installation instructions. Exactly what I was looking for.
