Create Desktop Shortcut for MSIX Applications

I have a WPF application I'm now bundling into an MSIX package. I have yet to discover a way to create a desktop shortcut for the application. Is it even possible?

Hi,

As of now, due to the MSIX technology design it is not possible to install a desktop shortcut.

If the MSIX design will change in the future we will try to find a workaround for this request (install Desktop shortcut) and when so we will update you on this thread.
