XP compatibility

Hello,

Can an msi file build in Advanced Installer 17.1.2 still be installed in Windows XP ?

Why this question ?
I program in XOJO 2018r4, and programs build in this version will no more work in Windows XP.

The latest XOJO version that is XP compatible is 2015r 2.4.
At the time I used 2015r2.4 I used also an older version of Advanced Installer.
As I would like to keep a bugfree XP version available for the users I need to use Xojo 2015r2.4, and build it if necessary in Advanced Installer.
I can not try it because I do not have any XP pc available.

Please have a look over the "Advanced Installer - Requirements" article, which I think you may find useful.

In the above article, you can see that:

To create MSI or EXE packages that run on:

• Windows XP SP3 and Windows Server 2003 download Advanced Installer 15.9

• Windows XP SP2 download Advanced Installer 12.5

• Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000 download Advanced Installer 10.3
